Educational
Kirkland, WA
Project size: 60,000 square feet

Unique Features
Complete new construction of a 60,000 sq/ft elementary school next to the occupied existing school. The new building included brick cladding, multiple levels with connecting stair cases, an expanded library, and a commons and stage area.
With the conclusion of the school year, the old school was demolished and turned into a courtyard, covered play area with storage space, and a soccer/multi-use field. Special attention was given to environmental concerns with a deep valley located directly behind the school.
