Allied is happy to be able to support both the Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County and the YMCA of Snohomish County. Not only do we build structures, we are helping to build lives by partnering with both organizations.
"Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, also known as LEED, is a Green Building Rating System that is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. Leed promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Projects are awarded Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum certification depending on the number of credits they achieve. Credits are earned by meeting certain prerequisites and performance benchmarks within each category.”*
The Silver certification was awarded to our company for the Monroe Corrections Complex SOU Maintenance Building in Monroe, WA. Congratulations to Project Manager, Tim Bjella, and the team he led that made this certification a reality.
